FORD SCHOOL CLASS PIC, CIRCA 1945

Ken Nordin, FUHS ’53, sent the following email. (Jim Nordin was his big brother.) Ken left FUHS his Sophomore year to join the national guard. He found a class picture from Ford school, but he doesn’t know what grade it is. It would have been taken about 1945. Email Connie if you recognize any of the students or if you know what grade it is.

Hello, I found a picture from the old Ford school. I am the fourth from the top left, I do not know the names of the people in the picture maybe you can recognize some of these people. The teacher is Mrs Bombgardner.

Connie - I believe this was the 5th grade, Mrs. Baumgardner's class, 1947. I'm the second one from the top right. I'm sure about Ann Richelieu and Marilyn Pickering; fairly sure about Tommy Rodger; less sure about Calvin Hudspeth, Jack Ferris and Ned Snyder. Several other tip-of-the-tongue identifications just wouldn't materialize.
