JOHN DOUGLAS YARBROUGH, FUHS 1974?

Yarbrough, John Douglas, passed away on September 5, 2011. He was born on May 17, 1956 in Fullerton, CA. He graduated from Fullerton High School. Throughout his youth and into adulthood he led the California Life; surfing the Pacific Coast, and skiing the Sierra. He excelled in both, and loved the great outdoors.
John served in the US Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. His fondest memories was his assignment in Aviano Italy where he made many good Italian friends. He invited his dad to join him to ski the Alps.
John had a special knack for making people laugh, and his friends and family remember his special good spirits and acts of kindness. He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas and is survived by his mother, Jane; brothers, Mark and Claude; sister, Jane Shreve; niece, Natalie; nephews, Michael, lan and Connor; brother-in-law, Mike Shreve; sister-in-law, Robyn Yarbrough; and his beloved Annie
John loved music, played the guitar and was an avid reader of history. He was a regular patron of the Fullerton Library; sometimes guilty of overdue books.
