ANNE PARKS GAW, FUHS 1953

I wanted you to hear and post that Anne Gaw (class of 1953) passed away in late November. As you remember, Anne was the daughter of Supt. Russell Parks. The obit was in the OC Register the other day.

Thank you for all you do to keep FUHS alumni aware of the good and the "sad" regarding their friends.

ANNE ELIZABETH GAW, FUHS 1953

Gaw, Anne Elizabeth, age 77, left us on November 21, 2012. Beloved by many and the best mom in the world, she is survived by her 3 children, Elizabeth Finney (Adam), Carolyn Little (Edward), and Jonathan Gaw (Amanda), and her 4 grandchildren, Patrick Dennis (Akima), Shannon Finney, Emily Little, and Thomas Finney. Anne also leaves behind by her brother, Walter Parks (Elizabeth). Anne was a long time resident of Fullerton where she taught Elementary and Junior High School for many years. She was also a woodworker, creating beautiful Christmas tree ornaments, and an artist, who displayed her works in local galleries. In retirement she was active with the Friends of the Fullerton Public Library and the Fullerton Arboretum.

A memorial will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 11:00 Lindendale, Fullerton at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: "All the Arts for all the Kids" 1401 West Valencia Drive, Fullerton, CA 92833, a local charity supporting art in the Fullerton Elementary School District.
