Jerry Joe, 63, of
Upland, was born in Fullerton and passed away on Feb. 7, 2015. Jerry was
preceded in death by his parents, Frances and Joe; brother, Rick; and sister,
Margaret Ann Jaimes.
Growing up he had a passion for all sports that would follow him throughout his life. While playing football at Fullerton High School, he got his nickname "Scooter" because of his quick abilities, until an unfortunate knee injury kept him from perusing his love of the game.
After high school, Jerry received his certification in printing and worked in the industry for nearly 35 years. Survivors include his family, Stephanie, Mark Jaimes, Jessica, Jesse; and grandson, Christian Jauregui.
His funeral was held on Feb. 27 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Pomona. Jerry will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
