BABETTE "BOBBY" STEIN, FUHS 1934

Stein, Babette "Bobby". Longtime Fullerton resident, Babette "Bobby" Stein passed away at home December 5th. Her family and caregivers were with her. She was 89 years old. Born in Fullerton on August 21, 1918, Bobby attended St. Mary's Grammar School, Fullerton Union High School, Fullerton Junior College, and graduated from Stanford University in 1939. She was once active in the St. Jude Guild, YLI, and St. Mary's Altar Society. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her brother, Nick Stein, and his wife, Joan; her nephew, Michael Stein; his wife Pamela, and children, Nicolas and Rebecca Stein, and her niece, Marquita Stein Gyben; her husband Jack and children Molly, Emily, and Peter Gyben. The Rosary will be prayed for Bobby Friday, December 14th, at 7:00 p.m., at McAulay & Wallace with the funeral mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Saturday, December 15th, at 12 noon. The family asks that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in Bobby's name to the St. Jude Memorial Foundation.
