Patricia Amend Barker passed away on January 7, 2010. The services were at Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton on January 14.

PATRICIA BARKER "Our Devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother"
Patricia was born on June 3, 1935 in Oklahoma and passed away on January 7, 2010 in Murrieta, California. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years William Barker; 2 daughters Karen & Jim Auck; and Susan Barker; 4 grandchildren Daniel, Michael, Nicole, & James. great-grandson Devon; her sister Cuba & Don Curl and their children Linda, Sharon & Steve; Niece Vickie & Bob Zajc and their children Tammy & Robert; cousins Barbara and Winn & their girls; sister-in-law Elva and her children; beloved friends Bill and Linda Dougan; Hilda & Pat Martin; Maureen Cunningham, and Joyce & Ron Purdy; and her beloved Chihuahua Buffy. Patricia was a gifted seamstress. Over the years she made her own clothing as well as clothing for her daughters and other family members. She was also an avid quilter and doll-maker. In her younger days she was a talented softball pitcher. Her family and friends will miss her quick-wit, feisty spirit, and her loving and generous ways.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton. A Celebration of her life will follow at Angelo's & Vinci's Ristorante in Fullerton. EVANS BROWN MORTUARY (951) 679-1114 Caring • Professional
