PHYLLIS BOLINGER MUNN, FUHS 1949

To Connie Van Horn FROM SHARON GREGORY MCCONNELL, FUHS 1950
I just received this email today-- Phyllis maiden name was Bolinger and she was in class of '49.

MESSAGE TO PHYL’S FRIENDS:
March 22, 2016 at 2:29:16 PM EDT

This is Phyllis Munn's daughter.   Mom passed away 3/16/2016 and I was not sure if you saw the posts on Facebook or received an email notice.     She passed away peacefully on 3/16 after suffering since 2/23/2016 with Advanced Progressive Dementia.  We are glad that she did not have to suffer 2-3 more years of Advanced symptoms like her brother did years ago.

She had a great 4 years here with me in Arizona and we are celebrating her life on Facebook so please check out her profile or mine.

Sorry to notify you this way
Lori Munn

TO PHYL'S DAUGHTER:

A classmate of your mother forwarded this to me because I have a blog that posts FUHS news.
Do you have an obit or a comment that you would like me to post?
I worked with Phyl on the Pow Wow committee for many years.

Mom passed away very peacefully on Wednesday morning, we are blessed that she didn't have to suffer. Her last 4 years were happy and she was comfortable, safe and loved.

Please hold in your mind and heart that Mom had an absolutely wonderful life and has been loved by so many. I know she wants you all to think of happy times whether it be at the beach, high school, reunions, Fullerton Savings happy memories or just her and Dad cleaning up the dance floor with their endless matching outfits.

She is now being greeted by family and friends who are on the other side. Like so many believe it takes an earthly period of 1-3 weeks where they transition. They have discovered it is a beautiful loving and learning time no matter the faith. It is common practice for all faiths in India to use those 3 weeks (and especially when she comes to your mind too if you want) to thank the person for their life and all that they did and recall specific happy times saying thank you to them. It is known during that 1-3 week earthly time transition time they often travel to loved family, friends and locations so if you feel her near.... it's wonderful to say to her your special memory and say thanks. I find their ceremonies to be beautiful, respectful with hope, guidance for the transition and much thanks. Many many times to be thankful for and 100’s plus of times at gorgeous, uncrowded, and pristine beaches or our hangout at Newport 31st street where all I can think of is absolute extreme fun that she and Dad created for family and friends. Thank you, Mom and Dad.
