I have just been loaned a '52 annual so I can copy some pictures from it too. (Mine is in this house somewhere.)

Ernie sent me this e-mail. I wanted him to put it in Earl's guest book, but the guest book is gone (only for a while, I hope).

Hi Connie.................

When I was getting ready to graduate way back in 1953 (or was it 1853?) I did not have money to purchase our class year book. I often regretted not being able to have one to look at over the years. For my 70th birthday (February 1) my wife (Marlene) surprised me with a copy of Pleiades '53! I don't remember ever telling her about wishing I had one but it was wonderful to receive. She did some detective work and ended up talking with a lady named Sandy Zwink at FUHS. Seems Sandy found the last remaining unused copy in their archives. It now resides next to my reclining chair and I enjoy looking at the pictures and trying to remember all the good looking young kids. If I can come to the next Pow Wow maybe I can get some signatures.

We moved from Maryland to Pennsylvania about 3-years ago to retire but I promptly got a new job in the printing business. I have been employed in the printing business since 1953. Marlene wants me to retire and I tell her that If I live long enough I might retire.

Best regards,
Ernie

PS: You, Terry, Art, Janet, and staff did a great job of publishing, and Bob's photography still looks good.
