OBITUARY FOR BILL CUNNINGHAM, FUHS '53

Bill Cunningham's funeral on April 22 was well-attended. Several relatives and co-workers had wonderful things to say about him. (One of the other mourners said to me at the graveside that everyone becomes a great guy at his funeral, but in this case, it was true.) He has left behind not only good memories for everyone, but beautiful wood work. (I saw the minister's office bookshelves that Bill built. The room was covered on 3 sides with floor to ceiling shelves and cabinets.) Jack Woods, Dick Foster, Pat Vierra Zima, Shirley McFarland Tardie, Don Ingraham and I were there from his FUHS class of '53 and from Ford Elem School. Go to http://cvanhorn.homestead.com/FordElem.html to see his 6th grade picture.
