Book About Fullerton Police Experiences

Don Raupe (’51) raves about a book by Phil O’Brien who was a Fullerton policeman for many years. The book is “BULLETS, BADGES AND BS” and is about Phil’s experiences in law enforcement. The book can be ordered through most of the major book stores under PublishAmerica.com. ISBN 1-4241-2425-5.

His brother, Terry O'Brien ('53), wrote:
You can get the book, BULLETS BADGES AND BULLSHIT, by Phil O'Brien at PUBLISH AMERICA P.O. Box 151, Frederick, MD 21705. $24.95 includes shipping and handling. It covers 25 years of police work in Fullerton - Laguna Rock Festival, Disneyland, robberies, burglaries, rapes, homicides, high-speed pursuits, practical jokes and weird people and policemen, lawyers and judges and their screw-ups in Fullerton. I've read it, and it's good --- a real eye opener. I thought we lived in a quiet, peaceful town --- wrong! You can get it online at http://www.publishamerica.com/bookstore/ Search for Bullets, Badges, and Bullshit. I tried to get him to soften the title, but he was firm about it. TOB
