RUSSELL FOREST (SPOUSE OF PHYLLIS, FUHS '42)

Russell, Forrest, 86, of Fullerton, passed away July 28, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; his children; and grandchildren; and extended family and friends. Our Papa was a gentle, kind man who lived his life with great integrity. We love you and miss you, Dad.

(From Connie: He is listed in the Fullerton Union High School data base in the class of '42 although the age of 86 doesn't seem to fit that year. I hesitated to put this obituary on the blog in case this is not the same person who graduated from FUHS.)

My mom graduated from Fullerton HS - she was born in 1924, so I'm guessing she graduated in 1942. Maybe my dad was in your data base as a spouse? It seems pretty coincidental that there are two Forrest C. Russells connected to FHS class of '42.

Mix-up solved. The FUHS database has Forest Russell and his wife Phyllis Stutsman Russell listed as separate entries in the class of '42 instead of listing Forest as Phyllis' spouse.
