JOHN W. HOSKINS, FUHS 1949

Hoskins, John W., 79, of Fullerton, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009. John was the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Norco Delivery Services (NorthORangeCOunty), an Anaheim-based company he established more than 50 years ago. Starting with just himself and his 1957 Ford, over five decades he built one of the largest privately owned diversified transportation companies in California. John was passionate about managing his company and serving those around him including his friends and family. He was a generous, kind, and passionate individual who contributed annually to Fullerton's St. Jude Memorial Foundation. He is survived by son, Tom Hoskins; daughter, Laura Mohon; and two granddaughters, Patricia and Alyssa. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pat. He was also a proud alumnus from Fullerton Union High. Services will be held Friday at 10 a.m., at St. Juliana Falconieri Church in Fullerton located at 1316 North Acacia Ave. Fullerton, 714-871-2829.
