WAYNE DANIELS, FUHS TEACHER
Rhys Cogswell, 20 months old, takes a walk through the yard of the Wayne "Tulip Man" Daniels, 73, at 688 N. Woods Avenue in Fullerton. Cogswell was visiting the tremendous display of tulips and other bulb flowers with his grandmother, Pat Trotter of Fullerton. Each year around Thanksgiving, Daniels plants thousands of tulips and other bulbs in his yard. He said this year's rains and cold snap have made his yard especially proliferate.

Mr. Daniels was a GREAT teacher at Fullerton High School in the 1980's and 1990's. As much as we (his students) appreciated him then, I'm sure his neighbors are enjoying the bouquet. I hope he is now retired and enjoying his garden as much as he did the classroom.

Wayne was one of my favorite people when I taught at FUHS in the '90's. It was great to seem him looking so well! - Roseanne Aulino Milazzo
Oops, I meant "see him"
Gorgeous tulips. What a way to brighten up the neighborhood!

Wayne Daniels was my Biology teacher at FUHS his first year teaching in 1963. My brothers, Jim (1 year younger) and Tracy (11 years younger) were his students, too. He was a stellar educator and the Pogues thank him for his dedication to education and his tulips!
