ALICE GENEVA BAGGETT MARZOLF, FUHS '48 OR '49 OR '50

(Alice married Edwin, who graduated from FUHS in '46. Does anyone know Alice's maiden name and year of graduation?) Gerhard Marzolph emailed me to give me Alice's maiden name of Baggett. He is researching his family name.

Marzolf, Alice Geneva, born November 28, 1931, died on January 14, 2009. In 1940 Alice moved to Fullerton, CA where she attended Fullerton Union High school. She met her husband, Edwin Marzolf in the late forties and they were married in May 1951. In 1961 they relocated to Anaheim, CA, where she set up shop and operated her hair salon for seven years. Alice is survived by husband, Edwin; children, Warren, Allan, and Russ, grandchildren, Amy, Brian, Nicole, Amber, April, Alice, and Jason; great-grandchildren, Cody, Kennedy, Preston, MaKayha, and Lillian. She was preceded in death by daughter, Linda, and son, Wayne. Services will be held Friday, January 23, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at the Canyon Christian Center in Anaheim, CA. Alice's family is finding comfort in "Precious in the sight of the Lord are the death of his Saints."

BRUCE ZINCKE, FUHS '48



Zincke, Bruce A., born November 26, 1930, passed to our Lord on January 11, 2009 while visiting family in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He is survived by his children, Catherine Arbogast, Debbie and Bill Davis, Raymond and Gina Barker, Vicky Zincke and Paul Horner; siblings, Chuck and Frances Zincke, Bette and Paul Dunlap. His passing is preceded by his wife, Rachel Zincke; son, Allen Zincke and brother, Bill Zincke. He also leaves 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren with two more on the way. Born and raised in Fullerton, California he graduated from Fullerton High in 1948. He was employed at McDonald Douglas as a Systems Analyst for 37 years before retiring in 1989. He resided in his home in Lakewood for 43 years. A gentle man of few words, using only the ones that counted, he was loved and appreciated by all his family, friends and colleagues. He touched hearts and minds and will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial services and viewing will be held at Westminster Memorial Park in Westminster Ca. where he will join his wife of 35 years Rachael Zincke for ever lasting peace with the heavenly Father.
Viewing will be held from 1pm to 4pm Sunday, January 18, 2009 and memorial services at 12 noon, Monday, January 19, 2009.

GIL ULYSESS KRAEMER JR., FUHS '49


Kraemer Jr., Gilbert U.
Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. Gilbert U. Kraemer, Jr. died on January 13, 2009, after a lengthy illness. A proud 6th generation native Californian, Gil was born on July 13, 1931 in Anaheim, California. Gil graduated from Fullerton High School and Santa Clara University. During his youth, he excelled at diving, sailing and football. His professions ranged from citrus farming to real estate development. An international angler, Gil broke the world record for Pacific blue marlin in 1986. He was President of the Balboa Angling Club. Gil is survived by his wife, Diane. El Supremo was blessed with three sons, Jimmy, Paul, and Steve and one daughter, Leslie. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Christopher and Allison Todd; Mackenzie, Sidney and Riley Kraemer; and Warren, Coleman, and Claire Kraemer. Funeral services will be held at Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano, 31520 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano, California at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 19. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated at The Billfish Foundation, 2161 East Commercial Blvd, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33308; or The Special Olympics.
