Stack, Richard Nelson,  FUHS 1966

Richard Nelson Stack passed away at his home in Brea of natural causes on January 3, 2019. Rick was born on August 4, 1948 in Oklahoma City and lived in Chickasha, Oklahoma until 1961, when his family moved to Fullerton. He graduated from Fullerton Union High School in 1966 as the Class Valedictorian.

He then attended Fullerton College and the World Campus Afloat before graduating from Yale University in 1970.

He matriculated at Stanford University Medical School and later, the University of California - Irvine, where he earned a Masters in Liberal Arts.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents Reford Bond Stack and Genevieve Carter Stack. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Carter and Julie Stack of Dallas, Texas, as well as numerous cousins and their families.

Rick had a lively mind and a lifelong love of literature, the arts and baseball. He lived life on his own terms and touched many people with his keen intelligence and humanity. His family asks his friends to remember their best times with Rick and take joy from the memories.
