ROBERT M. STUART, JR., FUHS 1969

Stuart, Jr., Robert M., age 58, of Fullerton, passed away on October 25, 2010 after a twelve year battle with cancer. He died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family. Robert was born on November 17, 1951 to Robert and Bernadine Stuart. He graduated from Fullerton High School with the class of 1969. During his high school years he met the love of his life, Denise, and they married in 1970. Directly following their marriage, Robert entered into the United Army serving two years in the 172nd Arctic Infantry stationed in Alaska. He was a thirty-six year employee of Nabisco in Buena Park. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert M. Sr.; sister, Judy, and brother, Eric. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Denise; daughters, Tammy Haygood of Riverside, Cindy Stuart of Fullerton, Becky Stuart of Fullerton. He also leaves behind his mother, Bernadine; three sisters and his grandson, Seth. Viewing will be held Saturday, October 30 from 2-5 pm at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary on Harbor Blvd in Fullerton. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 1 at 11 am in the chapel at First Evangelical Free Church of Fullerton on Brea Blvd.

HERBERT "PETE" FOSS, FUHS 1942

Foss, Herbert "Pete" Pete was born in Placentia, California, January 15, 1924 and passed away on October 20, 2010 in Newport Beach, California. Pete was a longtime Newport Beach resident, UCLA alumni, WW II U.S. Navy Lieutenant JG and 35 year aerospace engineer. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Orlene Jencks Foss; 3 children; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Peter will be remembered for his Christian faith, commitment to his family, sense of humor, love of fishing, sailing, golf and camping. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church on Friday, October 29 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, you may donate in his name to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

Julie Ann Johnson FUHS -58 will be receiving the 2010 Helen Gibson Legendary Award for charity work at the Stuntwomans Association luncheon October 17th.–She is a veteran stuntwoman and stunt coordinator whose credits include “Star Trek,” “Charlie’s Angels,” “Crank,” and “Spiderman II.”
