Hi, this is Arnie's wife Pam. As most of you know, Arnie was diagnosed with ALS a year ago May.  I am very sorry to have to let you know that he passed away yesterday at noon.  It was very fast, he was in no pain and he had not reached the point of being bedridden.  He was ready and he went very peacefully.  Arnie has so many friends that the only thing I could think to do was to go through his address book and pick names.  Hopefully you are all friends and if not I do apologize.

His four daughters and I plan to have a Celebration of Life at the Elks Lodge in Fullerton the first weekend in August.  As soon as I know all the details I will email the information out.  If I have missed anyone you know of, please feel free to forward this message.

I hope to see you and that you will share with his family any special memories you have of him.

All the best,

Pam Appleman
