Marilyn Edmonds Grunwald, passed away last Saturday according
to her husband Roger Grunwald class rep for the class of 55.

16, 1940 - August 15, 2015
Marilyn was born to Myrtle and Warren Edmonds in
Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Fullerton High in 1958 and married
her high school sweetheart, Roger Grunwald. She spent many years raising three
busy children and the numerous pets they brought home. Marilyn was a supportive
Secret Service wife and the government gave her the opportunity to live in
Maryland, Missouri, California, Washington, and finally back to California
again. She has made Solvang her home for the past 33 years.
Marilyn and Roger shared many happy years as
companions and confidants, recently celebrating 57 years of marriage. Marilyn's
greatest passion in life was the happiness of her family. Her love was evident
as a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She dedicated
her life to helping others, serving the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day
Saints through her tremendous faith. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with family
and friends, shopping for and decorating her beautiful home, and giving her
time to those in need.
Marilyn is predeceased by her son Scott
Grunwald, and brother Robert Edmonds. The close circle of family that Marilyn
leaves behind is her husband Roger, children Brad Grunwald and Julee Grunwald
Licon, and many adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday,
August 20, 2015, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at
2627 Janin Way, Solvang, CA, 93463. An open viewing will also be held at the
same location from 10:00 - 10:40 AM.
